Walgreens Haul & Review πŸŽ€πŸ›

Hello product haulers!

Trying out new products is so fun for me. However, I also love it when some of my favorite bloggers do hauls because that way I can see what’s good in the makeup aisle and make my decision. So, I was doing some shopping at Walgreens a few weeks ago and picked up some new products. I decided to wait until I had a good idea of how I liked them to blog about it, so I could give you my opinion. And trust me, I got it!

Whenever I’m at Walgreens, I usually go straight for Milani & Wet N Wild. I feel like they carry the best of those two brands at Walgreens. So, I was super happy to see some new (at least to me) Wet N Wild products, and also some products that I’ve just been eager to try.

The first thing I picked up was the Wet N Wild To Reflect Shimmer Palette in Boozy Brunch

I already had boughtΒ one or two of these when they were apart of the Fergie collection, but it seems like there isn’t really any Fergie Wet N Wild products. Those Fergie eyeshadow palettes that came out a year or so ago were repackaged and renamed, as well as the matte lip crayons, blushes, and, the highlighters.

The one I purchased before was a pinky champagne color named Rose Champagne Glow, and it was good, but it wasn’t very noticeable. As for the other one I bought, Rose Golden Goddess, it was quite a while ago so I don’t remember how it performed. I was very pleasantly surprised by this one! It is SO smooth and buttery to the touch, and it is such a gorgeous, intense highlight that definitely stands up to more expensive highlighters. It has a gold base, but with bronze and pink strewn through it. It is just amazing. I have seriously been in love with this product. Plus, the size is great since it’ll last you a long time. I will probably be repurchasing the other colors since they seem to have improved the formula.

For those of you who had your eye out for Hollywood Blvd from the Fergie Collection, this is the exact same one, except it’s been renamed Boozy Brunch. The others have also been renamed.

I always heard good things about the Wet N Wild blushes, but didn’t pick them up until after they released the new formula. I picked up Pearlescent Pink a while ago, which is a coral-y pink with gold shimmer, and I liked it, but it didn’t “wow” me. you know? I was looking and saw a blush shade that I thought was new, called “Apri-cot In The Middle”, and decided to pick up that shade of the Wet n Wild Coloricon Blush.

It is such a unique golden, orangey color, but it looks so gorgeous and makes your cheeks glow. This could even be used as a highlight, but I love that super glow, so I use this as a blush, or blush topper, then add the Wet N Wild Boozy Brunch after. The formula is good. Hands down. These blushes really last on my cheeks and Apricot In The Middle has been a total go to.

Since I had all these cheek products, I picked up a blush brush, The new Wet N Wild blush brush to be exact. You know those cute white and pink ones that everyone raves about? yeah. Now I know why! They are super inexpensive. The highest priced ones were only 1.99! The brush I got was .99 and it is DEFINITELY a great brush for the price. So soft, and easy to use, I wish I had picked up a bunch more.

I was looking for a contour brush to use for bronzer, or contour and was using this and really liked how it worked. However, when I used it to blend out cream contour, it just changed the game. When doing cream contour, you always have to be careful of it looking too muddy and unblended, or of it blending in so much that it doesn’t make any difference. This worked so unbelievably well at keeping the contour looking natural, but making it noticeable also. It’s also great for applying blush and highlight as well, so keep an eye out for this brush, as well as the entire Wet N Wild brush collection.

The last thing I picked up is kind of plain, but it was deodorant. Yeah, not that interesting but hey! A girl’s gotta handle her underarms. I picked up the Tom’s Mineral Confidence 24 hour odor protection deodorant crystal. Long name right?

I actually have a lot of trouble finding deodorant. No, it’s not because I have stanky janky pits that needs extreme deodorant abilities. Ever since my junior year of high school, I haven’t used deodorant with Aluminum in it. I took a sex ed course in school and the instructor told us about Aluminum in deodorant being linked to diseases like breast cancer, as well as others. I did speak with my mother, who is a doctor, about it and she assured me that it was mostly early speculation, but ever since then I have used Aluminum free! It’s super hard to find because almost every popular brand uses Aluminum, because it helps fight sweat and odor! I don’t have as many options when it comes to deodorant however, so I was glad to find this one, and I must say that it really has been doing the job. It’s unscented, which I don’t really like since I like really fragranced body products, but for now, I do like it. I’m not gonna lie, it hasn’t wowed me, but it hasn’t left me feeling unfresh, so kudos to you Tom’s deodorant with a long name, kudos.

Alright guys, that is it for this post! I hope that you liked it, and that I helped you out in some way. and if not, read some other posts! maybe you’ll find something!

I’ll see you in my next post. Stay gorgeous!

XO, Sage Slays ❀️✨
